I am a homeschooling mother of two; Daisy is 11 and Junior is 7. Daisy likes art and music, Junior likes to figure out how stuff works - which sometimes means it won't anymore. For him, boredom is a very, very bad thing.
We homeschool in East Texas using mostly Charlotte Mason methods but with some unit studies thrown in for fun.
For security reasons, I do not use my childrens' real names.
As a wife and mother of 2 children, cooking is a daily reality. I should also mention I don't really like to cook. I enjoy cooking for occasions or baking, but I don't enjoy the day in and day out of meal preparation.
Typically the meals I serve are simple, fairly good, and at least semi-healthy, but I may not follow a recipe.
I also tend to forget to set the timer, or eyeball instead of measuring. Most of the time I do have the correct ingredients, but that doesn't mean I will use them all.
I will only post recipes that we have loved and wanted to make again. If I know of ways to change or substitute, I will mention it. And if the recipe is not mine, I will give credit to where I got it from.
We are now doing gluten-free and dairy free. I know both my daughter and I have a wheat or gluten intolerance and my son has a dairy intolerance that seems to subside when he is gluten-free. I am still learning about the ingredients so if you see something you think is wrong, please let me know. If you need to eat gluten-free, double check the ingredients.

thought it if I hadn't seen it moving. But it is a larva (caterpillar).
